    When:

    • We are accepting submissions for SPLAT OF THE YEAR through December 31st, 2025
    • All splats must have been created during the year 2025.
    • Public Semifinals between January 10th and 26th will determine the finalists.
    • The Polys Jury will select from among the finalists starting January 27th.
    • The winner of Splat of the Year will be announced at The Polys on Sunday, March 22nd.

    Where

    • All entries will be uploaded to Arrival.Space where they will be viewed by the public and by the Polys jury in VR. We recommend you test your Splat in VR. Arrival.Space is the official Splat of the Year platform so they can be judged uniformly.
    • You may enter as many times as you like, but each splat must be entered separately, with its own description. Only the contents of the link will considered an entry, hubs to multiple splats do not count.

    How:

    • Use your favorite scanning app that exports to Gaussian Splats
    • Upload the Splat to Arrival.Space
    • Adjust the position, rotation and scale of the splat in the environment if necessary.
    • You can create gates in your main url to as many splats as you would like to enter.
    • Testing in a VR headset is recommended, but not required. Finalists will be judged in VR, but anyone can view your Splats on desktop ad mobile

    Promoting your entries

    • Make a social media posts about it and tag your peeps
    • Hashtag #SplatOfTheYear and #ThePolys #Polys6
    • Ask people to like, comment on, and repost your splats
